Unfiltered Story #28241

(A friend of mine holds grudges. In this scenario, they are working with an individual who has gotten on their bad side, it is first thing in the morning, and the individual in question left the bathroom after seeing my friend enter. A coworker encountered said individual and asked about the location of my friend….)

Friend: [lame coworker] told [name] that I was in the bathroom!

Me: Sorry?

Friend: [Lame coworker]! She told [Name] that I was in the bathroom! Why would she do that?

Me: ….Because you are in the bathroom?

Friend: But you shouldn’t tell people that! She should have just told them I was coming soon.

Me: Well, maybe [Name] was looking for you and needed to know which direction to go?

Friend: Well, you still shouldn’t say that someone is in the bathroom! You should just say “Go upstairs” or something. It’s rude!

Me: OK….

(I wonder if they would have been so up in arms if literally anyone else had indicated that she was in fact in the bathroom…..)
