Unfiltered Story #28230

(When I board the train home from work Passenger #1 is playing music loudly out of a boombox.)

Passenger #2: “You know there are other people on the train, right? The music is kind of a d*** move.”

Passenger #1: “I know.” *turns music up*

Passenger #2: “You’re an a**hole.”

(Passenger #2 apparently decides to stop fighting a losing battle because they go back to their seat. A few stops later, Passenger #1 approaches me. I’m a security guard and I’m still in my uniform which is very different than the transit company’s.)

Passenger #1: “Hey! Security dude! How far is it to [train stop]?”

Me: *Deliberately ignores*

Passenger #1: *to his friend* “Isn’t it funny how it’s his job to help people? Instead, he’s acting like an a**hole”

(Luckily the next stop was mine so I didn’t have to deal with him for long. Can some people not fathom that acting like a jerk makes people less likely to help you?)
