Unfiltered Story #28206

Unfiltered | October 11, 2016

(My husband wears his hair and beard long, which apparently makes him very recognisable. The people in our town usually remember him after having talked to him once. He has just left the train at the local station when a woman with two children approaches him.)

Woman: “You live at [street], right?”

Husband (startled): “Uhm… yes?”

Woman: “I know you! I used to live across the street and I once saw you on your balcony!”

(When my husband gets home, he is still amused: “I think this functions as some kind of behaviour training – I must make sure to never misbehave, or the whole town will know. The upside is, if I ever get so drunk I forget where I live, I can just ask a random person to take me home!”)
