Unfiltered Story #281858
I decided to get a haircut now that the corona Lockdowns are getting rolled back. I pass a salon in a mall and see they advertise their prices in the window. Additionally there is a sign saying everything is 3%off due to a temporary tax cut in order to help the economy recover.
When inside I am informed that they can only wash and cut my hair, blow drying it would cost extra now. I decline the drying, allready a bit annoyed to pay the same without this part of the service. But well, it’s at least a teeny tiny bit cheaper I think, and after 6 months I definitely need a haircut.
They wash and cut my hair, no big deal, and finish within 20 minute max. I go over to pay and get told a price +5€ more than advertised. I ask if it should not be (advertised price) minus the Tax reduction.
No, the price in the window is wrong they tell me, it was raised due to the long time of closure. And the 3% reduction is, well, not much.
I pay the price as told, because the employees where nice and my hair looks well done. But I will not come back.
