Unfiltered Story #281819

This happened at my call center. It’s normally a great place to work, but we do get our oddball callers occasionally. We work with insurance for employees and retirees of a major car company.

Me: *gives normal introduction spiel*
Caller: Wait, did you say you’re with the automobiles?
Me: Yes, we are the (benefit company) service center for (car company) automobiles.
Caller: I DON’T WANT THE AUTOMOBILES! I WANT THE INSURANCE!

*Sigh* Just another day.
