Unfiltered Story #28178

(Starting just before school is our first week of band camp. My friend and I are sitting around waiting for instructions. Not long after we receive our drill cards, small papers on lanyards telling us our position on the field. This gem proceeded to happen.)

Friend:”This is really confusing. Move 16? I have to make 16 steps into half a yard? What’s the difference between a move and a hold?”

Me:”Well, do you move or do you hold?”

Friend: “You’re a d***.”
