Unfiltered Story #28152

(I’m currently on a study trip in London. I’ve been here for a week and I’m not fitting in with my classmates. I’m always out of the Loop. Yesterday I actually got invited to a rather large event and after we got there they decided to leave and come back today, leaving by 6 AM. I have cancelled meeting up with someone so I can go. This happens in our shared room.)

Me: It’s 6:00.

Roommate #1: [sounding annoyed] Okay…

Me: We were planning on getting up at 6.

Roommate #2: Oh. That’s cancelled. [Classmate] wants to go to the museum to do homework. He’ll go later in the week.

(Sure would have liked to know before I cancelled. Unfortunately this keeps happening. If I’m invited at all. )
