Unfiltered Story #281209

I worked at a coffee shop, and many regulars knew me quite well. Unfortunately, they were not all people I would like to know in return. I was 17 and while I looked quite young, I was extremely at my job.
During a very busy day, I was working two coffee stations, bouncing between the blenders and the hot machine, helping out the other Baristas stationed there.
A regular customer is waiting by the pick up station for his drink and making chit chat, oblivious to our business.
He suddenly stops talking to my coworker, and looks dead at me.
CUSTOMER: You’ve lost a lot of weight! Wow!

I had not.

Me: Haha, not really Sir.
CUSTOMER: No, you must have. Your arms looked kinda ‘meh’ before but they look so toned now. Well, kinda. But you’ve lost a lot of weight I can tell.
