Several members of my family recently went camping, including my sister, her husband, and their 10-month-old daughter. We sat around the camp fire in the evening, and my niece, sitting in her high chair, had thrown her toys on the ground and was fussing.
Me: Are you bored?
Brother-in-law (to his daughter): It’s good practice for real life.
