( I attend a middle college high school, a high school on a college campus that allows us to take actual college classes with our high school classes. We are allowed to take summer classes but we have to sign up with our counselor and we must be in 10th / Sophomore Year or 11th / Junior Year. My friend and I are 16 and 15 respectively, both sophomores. )
Me: *takes one of the sign up sheets for summer classes labeled “10th and 11th grade ONLY”*
Friend: [Name], you can’t take that! It’s only for 10th and 11th Graders!
Me: *Confused at first before looking at her like on the office* [Friend], we ARE tenth graders!
( I think she didn’t get enough sleep the night before! But it was a good laugh for the rest of the day. )
