(I’m working at the supermarket foyer, counting people in and out, during a pandemic. The foyer contains gardening supplies. It’s a couple months in and several days after the UK prime minister has made a speech and changes that make little sense, and shortly after the US president has made yet another gaff that’s made it to British papers. A customer comes in, giving the gardening supplies a look over)
Customer: “oh, pesticide… Someone needs to spray Boris and Trump with that.”
(She continues in as if she hadn’t said anything at all)
