I am in an all-girls choir, and a teacher’s assistant has walked in. We are stunned by how gorgeous he is, and the teacher explains that he used to be a student here but graduated seven years before. He talks about how he discovered his love of music, and how our teacher is the one who inspired him to become a teacher. Suddenly, one the girls blurts out “Are you married?” We all giggle, and he’s quiet for a minute before replying: “No, I am not married, and I don’t think it matters to any of you.”
