Unfiltered Story #280255
I am working at a big box store during the current pandemic. In the name of social distancing, home office has told the door greeters to not check customers’ receipts. They’ve also recently implemented a policy that all associates must wear masks. Home office has also set a limit on the number of people allowed in each store, so the door greeters are tasked with counting customers instead. One day, I am covering the door greeter’s break and aN exiting customer comes towards me with his receipt in hand.
Me: You’re good.
I sort of wave him through.
Customer: You too.
Although in his defense, the masks do muffled things a bit.
