I had the sweetest and most kindest friend in 5th and 6th grade but I switched to a new school in 7th grade and lost all contact with her. She always helped everyone and was so selfless. She stuck with me when I had no other friends. I had met her family a couple of times and they were the best!
Years later, I worked at a giant amusement park and needed a new name tag. I saw her mom working at the HR counter but I did not have enough courage to approach her. Apparently it was my fate to talk to her because as I was leaving I ran into her again!
Me: Hi! Do you remember me by any chance? I was Lexy’s friend.
Her: Yes of course! I saw your file just the other day and thought about you!
I was so happy they remembered me! They were the kindest people I had ever met!
