(Every Friday night when I was a kid, we’d all sit, eat dinner, and then watch a rented movie. Dad would pick the movie, he’d like action type genre. And like clockwork, the movie would show a nude scene and Dad would chase us kids out of the room so he could watch it. Mom would scold him for bringing such a movie but he’d act dumb. But I knew it aas because he found kiddie and family friendly movies boring. I’d be sad because I couldn’t watch the movie. My sister however, would stay and yell “Dad, Mom, don’t watch this dirty scene! It’s not for old people!” and cover their eyes. Eventually she was argued out by Mom.
After that, I refused to watch any more movies with them and they always wondered why not! To them it was ‘fun’! No thank you. )
