Unfiltered Story #280222

We recently got a label printer. On our labels is the company logo. I’ve had a situation before where someone changed the file name and the logo no longer appeared on the labels, so I had to manually go through each one and make sure it had the new file name.
I’m making labels for the next day when I notice the logo isn’t there anymore. When I go into the folder to see if someone changed the name again, I see the picture file isn’t even there anymore, so I ring ny coworker who manages that folder.
Me: Hey, in (folder) there used to be a black and white (company) logo?
Him: Oh yes, it’s now in the picture folder, can you see it there? I was tidying (folder) and put all the pictures in one spot. Why, did you need it?
Me: Yeah…I need it for the labels, the picture doesn’t show properly if the file path is wrong.
Him: Yes I’ve been meaning to ask you why the labels aren’t showing the logo.
Me: …Because you moved the picture and now the file path is wrong.
He was very apologetic and moved the file back to where it was originally. At least I didn’t have to correct the labels again!
