(I’m worried about the pandemic, sick with an ear infection, and had to get up early for therapy so didn’t get much sleep. On top of this, that evening was the usual weekly online movie/video game night with my friend. I would have cancelled, but as I had already cancelled last week, I didn’t want to disappoint him further. The following occurs.)

Me: So I really just want to do one movie tonight and then call it a night. No videogames afterwards or second movie or anything.
Friend: That’s okay, we can take it nice and easy tonight.

(As it was his turn, he blindly picks a movie from our list of movies we’ve gathered from recommendations on the net. It turns out to be one of the most HORRIFYING sci-fi horror movies I have EVER seen.)
