Unfiltered Story #273674

So a bit of background info, as a child my mom would tell me that if it was raining while I could still see the sun it meant that tomorrow would be a sunny day. (No idea where she came up with that, but hey, fun for a child) anyway, I am now an adult and I was in the car with her and it started sprinkling while the sun was out. This was our conversation:
Mom: “hey, (my name) remember what it means when it rains while the sun is out?”
Me: (knowing what she’s getting at and deciding to be a smart Alec) “evaporation?”
Mom: “….”
me: “laughing my butt off”
Mom- “No! It means tomorrow will be sunny!”
