Unfiltered Story #270721

Everyone knows stories about old people finding technology difficult.
My grandfather is one of those people who tries to keep up, but ends up with 40 ribbons in his browser etc. Sometimes he gets really creative.

Like when he complained that his homepage kept changing.
Me: “Ok, so go the internet, what do you do?”
Gramps: “Well, I click one of these icons. See? I had it set to page [X], but it opens with page [Y]”
Me: “Hang on, ONE of THESE icons?”
Gramps: “Yeah, I installed extra internet”
Turns out, he had installed about 8 different browsers and opened one at random because they are all internet.

This issue that my dad solved (no idea how): “I found this video, but because I had no space I saved it on my printer and now I can’t e-mail it.”

Gramps: “Did you reset my highscore in minesweeper?”
Me: “No, we got you a new pc, so the games are also completely new.”
