Unfiltered Story #268469

My husband and I were walking up to the high school to watch my son perform in a concert. The concert had a bunch of different groups, from chamber strings to acapella groups, to someone doing Green Day. It is also important to note that due to our age differences my husband is at the tail end of the Baby Boomers (born in 1960) and I am definitely GenX.

Husband: They should have more folk music for us children of the 60’s.

Me: They probably will have some. They have that traditional ensemble you know. Maybe your inner flower child will be satisfied.

Husband: I could have been a flower child! I listened to Donovan and Joni Mitchell! It’s not my fault I was too young!

Me, after he finished his rant, deadpan: Ok, boomer.

Husband pretty much fell down laughing. “Touche'”
