I’m in Chemistry and we’re learning a new subject. My teacher gives all of us notecards with an element and a number on it. She then tells us to stand up when she calls out our element and tell her our number. My element is called, so I stand up, as does the guy who sits behind me. Note that he’s been sitting behind me for about 3 months.
The teacher starts going around the room, asking people their number. It gets to my turn, but before I can say anything, the guy behind me says his number.
Teacher: Are you kidding me? There’s someone right in front of you!
Guy: There is? *looks down at me* Oh! There is.
Me: Are you kidding me? I’m not that short!
Guy: Eh
Needless to say, this got the whole class, including myself, laughing.
