Unfiltered Story #265313
(I’m ten years older than my brother, and our mom is pale white. But our dad is black. Consequently my brother was born pale but then turned brown. He doesn’t believe me though, when I tell him how pale he was. Note: my brother is now 25 and prides himself in being logical.)
Me: *shows him his baby photos* “You see? It’s true! One day mom took you outside and you came back brown as toast and you never went back.”
Brother: *glances at his baby photos* “I don’t care what you say. I was never pale! Stop making things up!”
Me: “How do you explain these photos then? Are you saying they’re not you?”
Brother: “No they are, but….I don’t know! I just know I was never white! Ever!” *leaves quickly before I can say another word*
(I guess changing colors disturbs him. Denial, your river is deep.)
