Unfiltered Story #264567

(This happens while I’m attending my baby cousin’s baptism. Two other infants are getting baptized at the same time in fairly quick succession. As the pastor speaks and dabs the baptismal water on the forehead of one of the babies, the infant makes discontented noises and stretches his arms out. It looks like he’s reaching for the Bible that the pastor is holding.)

Pastor: “This baby wants to preach.”

(Got a laugh out of the congregation. I imagine this will come up if the baby wants to go to seminary as an adult.)
