Unfiltered Story #263285

, , | Unfiltered | July 22, 2022

I am a tutor for a popular online tutoring platform. I get a new student who is preparing for a job placement test (kind of like the ASVAB for the army). For review materials, he forwards me an email from the company for which he is applying, which has the various review packets attached as documents. The emails also have the typical “do not open if you are not the intended recipient,” etc, which a lot of companies put on their emails. I am not the intended recipient, so I email the student to ask about it.
His reply?
“I sent you those so you could see what the lesson titles are, not so much so you could open them.”

What else could I possibly think-that I was actually supposed to open the attachments to an email instead of just reading the title?
