Unfiltered Story #262971

I work at a pharmacy as an assistant and was serving on tills. Lady and her family (from a foreign country, they were visiting) purchased products and I give back the change accordingly. A short while after, they started to accuse me of giving them really old counterfeit money (change). They were angry, screaming at workers and the pharmacist. They specifically said I was the one who was wrong and gave them the faulty change, accusing me of running away and trying to scam them. Manager checked cctv and was able to see from the footage that I had given them what appears to be a NEW fresh $5 bill, not what they described at all, as I did NOT give them the really old counterfeit-looking note. Turns out I didn’t do anything wrong. What’s worse, I was helping them earlier and trying to facilitate their shopping experience and locating products for them..
