(I’m filling up my drink at the soda fountain with water. In this one, the water is in the same tap as the lemonade. Two young kids, maybe 7 or 8, are next to me waiting to fill their drinks.)

Girl: “Look! She’s stealing your drink!”

(The boy looks over the counter and sees my drink is clear, not yellow.)

Boy: “No she’s not! She has water.” (pause.) “That doesn’t make sense!”

Me: “Well, if you look at this button, you can get water. The main button is for lemonade, though.”

(There’s a pause as I finish up, grab a straw, and start to walk away.)

Boy: “That doesn’t make any sense!”
