(Its about 10pm at night and I’m at my register station, when I get a call on the PA phone. Its one of my fellow employees)
Me: “Hello?”
Employee 2 (in a scared tone): “Yes, (my name), can you call (supervisor) to the ice cream aisle? There’s someone’s live pet rabbit that they just put on the ice cream!”
(At first, I’m confused, then I tell the employee I’ll let the supervisor know. I call over the supervisor)
Me: “Hey, (supervisor)! (Employee 2 is in the ice cream aisle and saw someone brought in a live rabbit!”
(The supervisor sighs reluctantly, and goes to deal with the situation. Later, I see the live rabbit in its owners’ arms, at one of my registers.)
