Unfiltered Story #260365

[My step-dad and I have the same twisted sense of humor, which my mom doesn’t understand at all. We can sound like we’re fighting but are actually having the best conversation. He recently began bleeding from his anus, and we’ve been trying to tell him to go see the doctor. He’s Native American, and can go to their health clinic for free, but he refused to do so for a couple of days. Having enough of the argument, I walked into the kitchen where he was sitting and sat an unopened package of sanitary napkins in front of him.]

Step-Dad: What’s this?

Me: They’re for you. I’m willing to share, since you need them.

Step-Dad: Why would I need them?

Me: Because you are bleeding. And are refusing to admit it’s a problem. Dude, the only reason you’d have blood pouring out of you like that is if you’re on your period, so you’re gonna need these.

Mom: (Mortified) [My name]!

Me: Or would you prefer to shove a tampon up there?

[He relented and went to the doctor the next morning. Turns out he was bleeding in his GI tract, and he was very thankful that he finally decided to go.]
