Unfiltered Story #260358

Ok so my best friend, three of her friends and I were on line for the Ferris wheel at a local carnival and we noticed someone cut us in line. It was a middle aged looking woman with her maybe 10 year old son here’s the exchange she and I had
(The group I was with was all standing behind me)
Me: excuse me miss?
Her: yes
Me: me I sorry to bother you but you cut us in line could we just get our spot back (please note I wasn’t trying to be rude but we hadnt been online a super long time and there was only the two groups behind us)
Her: ummm, no you and your friends weren’t paying attention to the line and so we went in front of you, we’ve been here for like 5 minutes so why didn’t you notice sooner?
When she said that I just straight up didn’t know how to react so I stood there not speaking and wonder how some has the audacity to say that to a teenage girl, in front of her young son. Since I didn’t know how to react and I just standing there she turned back to her son and started talking to him. I went back to my group steaming mad
