This takes place as I’m running a register. I am checking out a son and his mother. The mother has been chattering away in her native tongue and looking at me. I don’t think much of it as I’m getting her son all finished up.

Son – *laughs* she wants me to tell you she thinks your very beautiful.

Me – *Breaks into a big smile and looks at mother* Oh! Oh thank you that’s so sweet of you to say.

Mother – *Touches her face and gestures to mine* Pretty, So Pretty. *Big Smile*

I thanked them again and told them to have a nice day. I was on cloud 9 the rest of the day.
