Unfiltered Story #257043

, , | Unfiltered | April 17, 2022

My family and have gone to the hospital to visit my grandmother after she fell on the sidewalk. We’re all relieved to know she is going to be okay and are just exiting the hospital. We are starting to cross the parking lot when this happens. A woman exiting the lot suddenly puts on her brakes and yells at us out her window:

“Jesus wasn’t a Christian!”

She immediately drives off before any of us can respond. We weren’t offended (she was correct after all, Jesus was Jewish), just very confused. Why had she yelled this? Why at us? The best we could figure was that it had something to do with the hospital itself being run by some Catholic group. Either that or it was a reference to something we were unfamiliar with. If anyone has any idea what that might be, I’d love to hear it.
