Unfiltered Story #257007

Me and my mom were at a self checkout. All of the lanes were busy and there was only one employee available and she was doing an amazing job. However our monitor kept having problems and we had to retrieve this woman on multiple occasions but we were fine with it as there was no queue. Then another customer joined the conveyer belt. We were ready to pay when the light went of as my mom was buying medicine for my sisters and instead of coming over we watched this woman help another customer pack their bags (a service this store has never done) and then gk towards other customers further away. It came to the point that the man waiting behind us had to go and get her to help us.
It might seem pretentious but with a busy store we couldn’t understand how she thought she had the time to pack someone’s bag while their parent was behind them doing nothing.
