I am an EA at a medical company working for the COO. We are a non profit so not every C level has an EA. My boss is great but has the bad habit of lending me to other teams with out asking me. This means I get roped in to booking a long series of meetings for the Marketing team with one of their outside contractors.

Normally booking meetings is no big thing for me but the amount of people they want many of whom have complicated schedules it can take hours per meetings. Fine, whatever, it is part of my job.

The first in person meeting arrives. I email the contractors on Tuesday to confirm the date, time and PLACE of the meeting. I give them the address and cross streets, they respond saying thanks….and then Thursday show up at the wrong location.

Days like this I want to ask my boss for hazard pay.
