Unfiltered Story #256687
I work at an elementary school, and one of my duties is to greet students in the morning. I usually give them high-fives as well. One day, I see a kindergartener who is normally very quiet and surly waddling down the hall. She never smiles or high-fives me.
Nevertheless, I greet her every morning with a bright smile and a waiting hand, and today is no different. To my excitement, she actually starts to go in for a high five! Then she angles her head toward my hand, and I think she’s going to give me a forehead-five, as the younger kids like to do. At the last second, however, she turns her head and licks over my palm.
I laugh it off, but the moment she’s gone I run for the nearest hand sanitizer.
