Unfiltered Story #256440

(I’ve been mistaken for an employee at a store before, but not quite like this most recent time at a certain grocery superstore.)

(I’ve finished checking out and am over by the customer service desk to pick up an online order when an incredibly frantic, but well-dressed man runs into the store. He sounds out of breath and is looking around with wild eyes.)

Man: *pointing at me dramatically and making eye contact* YOU! You work here?

Me: *looking down at my jeans, bright purple sweater, and boots* …No.

(The man shook his head furiously, looked around frantically, and quickly jogged into the store- leaving myself and the ACTUAL store employee who was next to me at the service counter looking at him strangely.)

(I hope he did find an employee at some point without running away from them)
