Unfiltered Story #255840

My company provides IT support for a specific program used by a number of universities and training centers. The name of our company and our customer support email address both clearly convey the field we’re in. But, occasionally, we get a call or email from someone thinking we are associated with companies in completely different industries.

The other day, I’d just clocked in and opened our support email queue to find this waiting for me:

Subject: UNTITLED

Message: “GameStop is nothing but a bunch of price gouging a**wipes!”

My coworkers and I had a nice chuckle over that one. If it had been a genuine and/or polite request I would have informed them they had the wrong email.
