(I’m usually the one answering the phone up front, and I always answer the same way.)
Me: Thank you for calling [store] at [location], this is [my name] speaking.
Caller: Is this [store]?
Me: ….yes.
Caller: And you’re the one at [location]?
Me: Yes.
Caller: Oh, okay. *hangs up*
(I stood there for a second, not quite sure why they called.)
