(I’ve always been a quiet and shy person. And sometimes my voice comes out in a whisper. I was checking someone out and I say the total. But my voice was so low she didn’t hear it.)
“Oh, so now I have to read my own total?”
“Huh?”
“I’m glad I looked up and saw my total. It’s so rude making me look at my own total.”
“I said the total. My voice is just low.”
“No you didn’t. You don’t need to lie.”
(I don’t know she wanted from me. Like sorry that you didn’t hear me the first time. And I am so sorry that my voice is so low.)
