I was volunteering at the library, putting books away in the children’s section, when this tiny girl, maybe three years old, ran up to me with a mischievous look on her face. Before I knew it, she stuck a Thomas the Tank Engine sticker onto my pants leg, then ran away giggling.

When I signed up to volunteer, nobody warned me about the risk of random drive-by stickerings from three-year-olds.

Little scamp, but she made my day!
