Unfiltered Story #249769

, , | Unfiltered | December 18, 2021

I’m working the early shift which is unusual for me and am sitting on tills scanning items through. The interaction with this customer has been normal up until this point.

Customer: [noticing I’m wearing gloves] It’s freezing outside.

Me: It sure is sir.

Customer: My hands are freezing. Feel.

The customer then proceeds to place his cold hands on my neck! I don’t care what the situation is, putting your hands on a strangers neck is inappropriate. I give the man a strange look not sure how to react.

Me: Yeah they are.

The rest of the transaction goes back to normal but I still can’t understand why a forty something year old man thought it was appropriate to touch a young woman neck like it was a normal thing to do.
