Unfiltered Story #249755
My mom wasn’t really one of those parents that pushed for their kids to get high grades and great scholarships. Now don’t get me wrong, she did tell us to do our homework and do her best to help us when we asked. But on the subject of grades, if they started to enter around a D or F range she wouldn’t take our items away and force us to study. Her motto was: “These grades aren’t affecting my life only yours. So it’s up to you to do what you want with it.” So if we wanted that F on our transcript she wouldn’t say anything about it. We were responsible for ourselves and getting our grades to where we wanted them for when we graduated.
