Unfiltered Story #249743

(My girlfriend can sometimes be a bit… frustrating, to say the least. This is what happens when I have no cellphone, but was able to use my tablet to message her and ask if she could call 2 numbers I sent her, ask 1 question, and message back the answer before I made the hour-long round trip to find out the hard way.)

Me: “Can you call [store #1] and [store#2] and ask if they have what I’m looking for?”

(Instead of messaging me back, she videocalls me.)

Me: “I’m on the bus so I can’t hear you, just message me okay?”

GF: “I called *unintelligible* said yes *unintelligible*”

(I tell her again I can’t hear her, end the call, and message her asking which store said yes.)

GF: “They said yes.”

Me: “WHICH store said yes?”

GF: *thumbs up*

Me: “WHICH STORE? The one on [street A] or [street B]?”

GF: “The one at [mall several miles from both locations].”

Me: “I didn’t give you a number for one at [mall]! Who did you call?!?”

GF: *thumbs up*

Me: *internal screaming*
