Unfiltered Story #248830

(I work in an office building attached to our company’s production floor. Our whole company takes the week between Christmas and New Years off from work. It’s a week before break and we are very behind on completing projects so we have been going through a string of temps to help finish the job. Some of the temps have been great, others..not so bright. This conversation however takes the cake.)

Temp: Does that machine over there do faxes?
Coworker: Which machine?
Temp: (pointing) That printer over there, does it fax?
Coworker: Oh that? That’s not a printer, it’s a trash can.
Temp: Oh…

(I’m still not sure exactly which trash can he was pointing to, but I honestly don’t know how someone could mix up a trash can and a printer.)
