My friend is color blind. Another friend of ours had us all select different colored stone beads to make bracelets. She told us the names of each stone and the different positive effects of each one. He got a dark blue, grey, and black one. As we are driving in my car…

Friend: I’m thinking I should have gone with a more masculine color. I’m not sure about the purple anymore.

Me: Those are blue, not purple.

Friend: This is definitely purple.

We drive for a few minutes in silence and then he turns to me in the sassiest “gotcha” tone: “It’s. BLUE. jasper”.

Me:…….. Yeah. That’s what I said. Blue.

Him realizing I was right and visibly deflating: oh….. dang it!
