Wife showed me a Raised By Narcissists Reddit post about how a husband said to his wife “I’m proud of you”, and the wife proceeded to cry because no one’s said as much to her before.

Since both of us were ‘Raised by Narcissists’, I proceed to immediately say, “Hey Honey, I’m Proud of You.”

My Wife: “I’m Proud of you More!”

Me: “No, I’m Proud of you More.”

Wife Playful Frantic: “NO! I’M PROUD OF YOU MORE!”

Husband: “I’m The Mostest Proudest of You Infinity Forever!”

Wife exaggeratedly sad pouts in silent defeat…

Husband: “…But you’re proud of me more still.”

Wife Bounces like a Bubble: “Yay!”
