Unfiltered Story #247411

In class we are working on a group project. Thankfully I’m paired with two good friends (Friend 1 and Friend 2) and everything is working out fine, but then we have a question for the teacher. The teacher of this particular class is the father of Friend 1, and is generally a pretty cool guy. Our group is sitting near the teacher, but he has his back to us so instead of raising our hand (since he wouldn’t see it) we call his name.
Friend 1: Mr. [Last Name]….Mr [Last Name]
Friend 2: Mr D!!!!
Me: Mr [Last Name]!!

He still hasn’t seemed to hear us at all, and we’re chuckling a little cause we’re less than 10 feet away. (Admittedly the room is a little louder than normal cause the groups are talking but still…) So we start getting creative
Me: Coach…Coach [Last Name]!!!
Friend 2: D-Man!!!!! Cool Dude!
Me: Teacher!!

Then Friend 1 gets on a roll
Friend 1: Dad! dad dad dad dad. Daddy! Father! Father Figure!! Old Man!!!

The teacher suddenly turns around at ‘Old Man’. Friend 2 & I burst into laughter so loud it gets the whole class’s attention. Teacher is looking mildly annoyed and Friend 1 is turning red. Eventually we settled down enough to explain the situation and Teacher chuckled, claiming he honestly hadn’t heard anything before ‘Old Man’.
