Our company has an outside sales representative that works primarily from home. His health hasn’t exactly been great and recently had surgery. While recovering from home, he called into the office to get an update. He spent quite some time talking with our lead sales representative, the lead sales rep’s phone on speaker.

Towards the end of the call, the outside rep starts talking about the surgery he recent had and how uncomfortable it’s making him. Most of us in the office are tuning him out, minding our own business. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the outside sales rep blurts out, and quite loudly, “Yeah, it feels like I’ve got a basketball between my legs!” Everyone looked up from their desks and just blurted out laughing.

I think our lead sales forgot to tell our outside sales that he was on speaker phone, because he heard everyone laughing and asked, “why the hell is everyone laughing?”
