I am working as a night manager at an upscale hotel in Stockholm. I am just finishing talking to the dayshift as a guest comes to the counter. I smile and greet him in Swedish.
Me: Good evening and welcome to *hotel*. How may I help you?
The man slams his fist on the counter and shouts at me in English: What the hell are you doing speaking that gibberish to me? We have Trump now! No more foreign shit!
Me, in English: Sir, you are in Sweden, we speak Swedish here and Trump is not our head of State. Now how can I help you?
The man grumbles and give me the name for the reservation and walks to the elevators. Before he gets in he turns around and says:
Man: Just you wait until we come here and make you speak a god-fearing Christian language!!
Me and my coworker could barely keep our laughter in check.
