(I’m in high school and living with my parents. My partner and I are cuddling on my bed when my parents leave to run errands. My mom has only met my partner twice before. My sisters no longer live with us.)

Mom: *leaving* Bye [partner’s name]!

(A few seconds pass and I look at my partner, wondering why my mom hasn’t said goodbye to me. I start to call out to my mom when she says this: )

Mom: Bye [Sister’s name]! *leaves the house*

(My partner laughed so hard they fell off the bed.)
