I contact customer services regarding a refund I am due:

Rep: So the money will be refunded to the card you paid with.
Me: Unfortunately that card was stolen last month. I can give you details for a new card, or my account number for a bank transfer. Do you need the police report as proof?
Rep: No, just email us your bank details. Transfer is fine.

I do so. Rep calls back.

Rep: So I checked, and the card you paid with has not expired after all, so we will refund to that.
Me: I know it has not expired, it was stolen, as I said.
Rep: Oh. I do not know what to do.
Me: Well, 10 minutes ago we agreed on a bank transfer.
Rep: Oh. I will get back to you.

She never did, but luckily the money appeared in my account.
